Welcome to Gazette’s May issue of Channel Focus. Every month, unique channels are introduced to readers, allowing chatters to know special places and perhaps another chatting paradise, as well as getting to know other chatters. As we all know, all chatting in mIRC can get a bit boring. Well, hopefully after reading this article, you might not be bored anymore! For this very month, we have a very special channel. This is not any ordinary channel for chats. It is a channel for chats plus fun and laughter when you get bored.

Officially created by Alisa at the beginning of this year, #KnowItAll is an international trivia channel. Do not be tricked by the information on when this channel was created, as #KnowItAll has been around for quite some years on quite a handful of IRC servers.

Started out on a meaningful date, 1st October in 1999, on beyondirc, they went in search of another newer and larger network, partially due to Arab users being banned from the network after the 911 incident. After hopping around a few servers, they soon stumbled onto Galaxynet on 14th March.

Ever thought of how this trivia channel has such an interesting name?
Well, after digging out some information from the owner, Alisa exclaimed, ”hehe... Well... we pretend to know it all". Well, at least until you get to the trivia questions and found out that you don't really know the answers to these questions.

In #KnowItAll, Alisa felt that there were many people who had made this channel possible and with such success. And how could I leave these people out?
First of all, there is the question file manager, Trowt. Based in UK and over 70 years old, he is very precise, checking and editing all submitted questions. After him, there is peachykn who is their quote lady from Canada. She is in charge of collecting funny lines that players commented in between the questions. To read some of these quotes, try doing a !quote and they will pop up. These quotes had to be sent in to her. But don't try to send in your own quotes as she will only pick them if someone else sends them in. Other than that, there is also Mar from Israel who keeps the birthdays up-to-date and displays them in the topic. There are some helpers helping with each month's top 20 winners’ chart, and also helpers designing their website and adding on their personal touches.

Definitely, I wouldn't want to miss my chance to have an "interview" with the Star of this room. It is none other than the bot that has been serving all this fun to trivia players with interesting questions. Initially, the bot was named Omniscient, which means, "all knowing". After immigrating to Galaxynet, he has a new name, Omnibus.
