In this issue, we will cover on the initial
preparations for channel registration process – the initial stage.
Almost 20% to 30% of the channel applications submitted daily are rejected due
to email bounces from registrant and supporters. If you wish to increase your
chances of getting your channel registered, you may want to take the advices
given in this article.
Before you submit an application using Nova, you should follow the checklist:
- Join the channel you wish to register, make sure it is not registered and
you are the channel operator.
- Check the validity of your email registered on your nickname by typing /MSG
NS WHOAMI
- Check the supporters nicks you are going to use whether if they are registered
nicks.
- Check with your supporters whether if their emails are valid and working.
Please do not ASSUME that their emails are working, take the initiative to ask
them to type /MSG NS WHOAMI to visually check it.
- Check with your supporters and yourself whether there are any multiple registered
nick issues.
- Confirm with your supporters that they do not reject your channel by replying
the email sent to them from pulsar.
After submitting the application using Nova, the last thing you need to do is
- Check again that you and your support receives an email from services.
- Make sure that they do not reply that email sent to them.
The steps listed above do not guarantee a successful registration but it will
be to your advantage if you follow it.
Cservice wishes to clarify that we do not have a channel quota per day, or any
issues regarding to-be channel owner who has links with Galaxynet staff has
better chances of getting the channel registered, or Cservice purposely rejects
a channel for no reason. Those are definitely not our practices. We follow a
sound and well established policy throughout the channel registration process.
Lastly, we would like show our gratitude to those who have contributed and to
those who are still contributing to Cservice, without their contributions, time,
and commitment, we would not have been so successful. Thank you very much
